Continental breakfast will be offered at the main dining table or outside on a gorgeous day. A quiet Bed and Breakfast with fabulous sea and hillside views from every room, verandah or patio. Akaroa House enjoys a great sun aspect. Maximum four to six adult guests at any time.

Gorgeous heritage 1884 features, fully renovated 2004 - complete with en-suite or private full bathroom, under tile heating and air-conditioning, and running hot and cold water : ) Free wi-fi (for checking emails, and surfing the net). Parking is right outside on the wide quiet street.
Luxury historic house
Large King bedroom with gorgeous French tub en-suite – soak in the views of the surrounding gardens and hills. Private deck area. Each guest suite has Tea and Coffee tray and a private television.
Upstairs the Queen and twin room (these beds can be made into a “king” with advance notice) share a private family bathroom with shower over the bath. Four guests (of same group) can be accommodated here.
Ready for you to enjoy and relax on arrival the home is supplied with full linen and some toiletries.

A house for all seasons
Akaroa House is heated by a log burner in the lounge, heat-pumps throughout , underfloor heating under the tile areas and a gas flame fire in the Master bedroom. In summer the French doors under the shady verandahs can be opened for cooling with sea-breezes, or there are the air-conditioning units.
